Seamea was born from a deep connection to the island. It’s where our founder was born and where every piece comes to life. Producing locally felt natural. It’s more than a decision; it’s a tribute to her roots and to the incredible craftsmanship Mauritius has to offer.

Each collection is shaped by the island’s energy, made in close collaboration with skilled artisans who uphold traditional know-how with modern precision. By working hand in hand with local workshops, we ensure not only the highest quality but also fair working conditions and a respectful environment.

For us, creating responsibly means staying close to our values, to our team, and to the place that continues to inspire everything we do.

Our swimwear prioritize the use of eco-friendly materials such as recycled nylon or polyester, organic cotton, or regenerated fabrics, which is made from recycled ocean plastics and discarded fishing nets.

We ensure fair labor practices by partnering with manufacturers that provide safe working conditions, fair wages, and uphold workers' rights. This includes transparency in the supply chain and possibly obtaining certifications like Fair Trade.

We try our best to minimize our environmental footprint by reducing water usage, energy consumption, and waste generation throughout the production process.
